It’s time for another home renovation update! If you’ve been following us for a while, then you already know about our recurring projects to make our house a home we’ve come to love more and more each day. For our most recent project, I decided to recruit the cutest interior decorator I could find, my oldest son, Gozie. With Halloween right around the corner, I thought I’d grant his wish of seeing a spooky display in our house by adding decorative bats to
the wall above our new console table. I wanted something that was relatively subtle and a little funny, but still complemented the aesthetic I had in mind. Would you believe that Gozie still complained about there not being any skulls or ghosts? Besides the bats, I added white miniature pumpkins, a new table lamp, a hamper, and the most decadent candle I’ve smelled in a long time.
I’m still deciding on whether I want to add any more festive touches to the area, but I’ll definitely be heading back to Walmart Home to complete all of my holiday home needs.
