Now that our family consists of two little ones that demand all of the attention, we look forward to simple, delicious and romantic meals for 2.

Easy Steak Dinner

Have you had the perfect steak? It takes 2 things to make it perfect.

  1. The perfect cut of meat
  2. Not overcooking it

I was naive to how delicious a steak could be until Hubby made this crazy delicious meal. He is the Master of Steak in our home and he had my mouth watering with this recipe. When I finally became brave enough to take a bite of medium rare I vowed to never again be that girl that orders a well-done steak. This is the perfect meal for 2 (especially if your ribeye steak cuts are as huge as ours, we ended up sharing one). I like to pair this steak recipe with cauliflower puree and my delicious keto biscuits made with almond flour from Nutraprice. Stay tuned for the recipes to those in the coming weeks!

The Best Steak Ever

Whether or not you are on the Ketogenic Diet, This steak recipe will have your mouth watering. From the simple marinade to the Ghee butter, this will have your date night meal off to a great start.

Course Main Course
Prep Time 40 minutes
Cook Time 10 minutes
Total Time 50 minutes


Garlic Ghee Butter

  • 1/2 Cup Ghee or Butter Softened
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Steak Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Sea salt


  • 2 10 oz Ribeye Steak


  1. Marinate the steak with Steak seasoning overnight in the fridge

  2. Allow the steaks to rest at room temperature for 30 minutes and pat dry with a paper towel

  3. Heat 2 Tbsp of oil in the skillet until simmering

  4. Rub the steaks with the Ghee butter and add them to the skillet on high heat

  5.  After 5 minutes, flip that baby over and sprinkle some salt and cook it another 5-7 minutes. After that, it should be somewhere between rare and medium/rare.
