On any Virgin cruise, don’t forget to bring your scarlet outfit for Scarlet Night onboard the ship. for us it was night 3 and it was an evening back full with events so get ready! Shelby and I tried to hit as many events as possible, and the energy was unmatched.

One night, we found ourselves dancing at a show in the Manor, and the next, we were gasping at acrobatic feats during a live performance in the Red Room. There’s truly something for everyone, so plan ahead and book your must-see shows early on your agenda to keep track.

3. Proposals Everywhere!

No exaggeration—we witnessed five proposals during this trip. Something about the romantic sunsets over the ocean and dreamy ship vibes made love bloom. Absolutely! If you’re on a budget, skip the pricey shore excursions and enjoy the amenities onboard. Shelby and I stayed on the ship while docked at Costa Maya , indulging in the incredible food and pools. Trust me, there’s plenty to do on the Resilient Lady without spending extra.

One of my favorite perks was the free Wi-Fi. It let me stay in touch with family and friends back home without extra fees. I did end up purchasing the premium package for easier access to streaming to see some of my patients/

Five nights was the perfect amount of time for me. I’m not sure I’m ready for a week-long cruise just yet, but this experience left me open to future adventures on the high seas.
