We wrapped up one evening exploring the Enchanted Garden of Lights at Rock City. It was like stepping into a Christmas storybook. Since this is at a high point of Lookout Mountain,the “Rock City” point, is a marker that states you can see seven U.S. states can be seen: Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama. Since there are plenty of hills and breathtaking sites to see, i definitely recommend wearing waterproof hiking shoes while you’re there. The temps were pretty wet and chilly the day we went in December. Our favorite moment was when the The boys loved spotting Santa’s house at the end of the trail, while I couldn’t get enough of the twinkling lights and festive music. It’s a magical experience that’s worth every second of chilly air.

The Tennessee Aquarium was another hit with our family. From otters to penguins, the boys were captivated at every turn. The warm indoor environment was a welcome break from the cold, and I loved the educational moments we shared.
