I am so excited about sharing our engagement pictures with everyone! Working with @Rhphotoarts was amazing. He was a total professional that made novices like Hubby and I feel comfortable in front of the camera. I love how we incorporated the location of the proposal and key pieces of it, such as the ipad and the guitar. We got to reminisce on the bridge about that moment he asked me to be his wife.
Here are a few behind the scenes vids shot by Chika of One Way Media, made perfect for Instagram! We are in such a social media age that there are so many fun ways to incorporate it into your wedding! We just have to be conscious of what we put on the internet because you no longer have full control of who sees it once its out.
I’m also so excited about getting the final design for our Save The Dates! We’ve been on the fence about doing Save the Dates (STDs) for a while. On one hand everyone is so tuned into technology that an electronic save the date is a smart way to go. But on the other hand, I have a close friend…….who was physically handed an invitation to someone’s wedding but completely forgot about it until 6 months after the wedding. Claiming it slipped her mind because there was no STD! -_-
Is this to be expected? Will people forget they were invited if they don’t have a reminder staring at them on their fridge?
Either way, we decided to go for them and I’m glad because Chika at One Way Media did her thing on designing them! *Hit her up for all of your photography, videography and graphic design needs.

2. Bright colors are our friend
although we can still pull off that dark and sultry look, try to include a look with a color that pops. Bright colors look amazing against our skin tone
3. Choose a photographer that has worked with people of color
I can not emphasize this enough. We do not look the best in every filter. 1 mistake can have you looking washed out and ashy. You want an experienced photographer who will
